MIKA PENTZER-ILIJASIC

Mika was born in early 2020 and joined Prof. Pentzer's household the day self isolation started. She was only 10 lbs when she came home from Aggieland Humane Society, but is now just over 30 lbs. She is an Australian Shepard mix. She enjoys walks, chasing tennis balls or her tail, smiling, and sleeping underneath Prof. Pentzer's desk. She is a good girl by all accounts.

SHRUB CIPRIANI JR.

Shrub Jr. (named after Ciera’s late cactus) was a birthday gift from Ciera’s parents. Shrub Jr. is a hardy houseplant of the “impossible to kill” Epipremnum aureum species, so she has thrived during her stint in College Station (thus far). Shrub Jr. loves listening to music, especially her favorite song “Soak Up the Sun” by Sheryl Crow. Although still green to the world, Shrub Jr. takes pride in growing a little every day.

PLANTALINA JOLIE

Plantalina Jolie, named after the critically acclaimed actress Angelina Jolie, is Cameron’s first and favorite houseplant. She was adopted in January 2016 and has survived numerous trips across the country. She enjoys listening to Rammstein and spending time with her 15 children. Although Cameron thinks she is from the species Haworthia Attenuata, her exact species is unknown and Plantalina enjoys having that mystery.
